A small self guided Dinosaurs Park at Bastrop, TX. Admission is $7 for ages 3+ and under 2 is free.
We spent about 2 hours inside this park which include lunch brought from home.
Blue Hole Park - Georgetown, TX
This is a nice little cliff park with waterfalls. The boys got in the shallow water to play with some small fishes. Our 4 years old really enjoys throwing rocks into the river. The boys spent nearly an hour just doing that - rock throwing. I guess that was the best part of this whole weekend get-a-way. It was so much fun that they did not want to leave as I told them that we are visiting a fun playground nearby.
Creative Playscape - 5 minutes away from the blue hole park, there's a newly renovated awesome playground for the kiddos.
The Oasis Restaurant - Daddy enjoys sunset so I chose this place for his birthday dinner. Unfortunately, the wait time was 90 minutes long and no way for us with our hungry tummies. We got there shortly after 6:00 P.M. so we waited until the sunset at 7:07 P.M. and left to another Japanese restaurant nearby.
The food doesn't look appealing so I don't think we will be back in the near future. The hype of this place in daddy view is way overblown.
Kids always enjoy watching the peacocks. Here at the Mayfield Park & Nature Preserve.
Lastly, Happy birthday to papa. Egg tarts in its place of cake.
