McGovern Centennial Gardens Again!

Sunday morning. Weather was super nice. Clear sky and temperature was around 60 F. Didn't find any suitable family event and daddy suggested to go back to McGovern Centennial Gardens located around Hermann Park. We first discovered this place about two weeks ago (in this post).

Parking was quite easy to find as the morning was still early, or maybe a lot of families were still attending Sunday church service.

Once we entered the gate, there is the beautiful spiral 30 foot mount right in front of us.

There are multiple mini-waterfall on each level of the mount. The size of the waterfall get bigger toward the lower level. Gege was initially hesitated on approaching the waterfall. But once we introduced him the fun aspect of it, which is playing water, he started to like it. He started playing with the water on each waterfall of each level. Here is he rolling up his own sleeve and playing with the smallest waterfall at the highest level.

After the nice walk and beautiful scenery on the mount, came back down and explored the rest of gardens. There are spacious lawns next to the mount. Kids run and play. Some families hold mini picnics. We saw a family playing Frisbee. Gege playfully fell and laid on the grass. Didi also like to check out flowers, and won't missed his sand moment (ever since we bought him to beach).

There are so many beautiful scenery at this place. Love the pine trees and different kind of plants. The person in the picture below sure know where to pick a place to enjoy reading book. Did you find that person?

Another thing we love about this place is there are multiple benches around for visitor to sit back and relax. Especially with this beautiful weather during fall. Got to says this is so far one of the top place to slow down and chill.
