Summer 2016

Summer is approaching to an end in the next few weeks and that means school will be in session soon. hooray!!! For us, it will be mother's day out program; Twice a week with 3 hours each day. It doesn't seems to be much, but at least better than nothing.

So, what have we done this summer?

Aside from traveling, we did a lot. Both kids were enrolled in Gymboree Play & Music. Didi was enrolled since March and gege began in June for the school skills program (drop-off program). Mommy wasn't too happy about how the program was ran so she decided to withdraw both of them. We ended our membership sometimes in July. She registered the boys in gymnastics, which they enjoy much more than Gymboree.

We started gardening in May. Had gege did most of the works. From scooping the soil to planting the seeds. Look! Our garden has expanded with a garden raised bed. We've harvested few okra and few chilis, not to mentioned a countless times of green onions in short 3 months.

Water activities - Nothing is more excited than water fun!

Being goofy

Getting them ready for Chik-fil-A Cow's appreciation day.  Nothing better than free food.

Playground

Tour the neighborhood with gege's rides (cars & bicycle).

Swimming at the neighborhood pool while daddy is teaching gege.

Shaping their fine motor skills with black beans.  These are more enjoyable than their toys.

Painting - Under closed monitoring.

Here comes the BAD...

Monster Gege & didi tearing down the house!  These are the kind of days when mommy has an urge to start working and put them in day care.

Mommy was preparing dinner while the boys messing up even more!  Surprisingly, Gege was the one who got caught when mommy walked in!  He is almost 4 and has never drawn on the wall so this is his very first time.  Who to blame in this scenario? :(

    1. Thanks funmama. Time sure flies fast. I missed they being babies, but I certainly enjoy more now because they can do a lot more with me. Also, do not like the sleepless nights and around the clock feeding schedule when they were babies.
