Happy 2nd Birthday to Didi

Pheww..where has time gone?  It flew with a blink of an eye and I have to admit that the past two years were tough. With each day passing, didi is growing up fast and has his needs and wants; while gege on the other hand, has so much energy and also has his own needs. Each day that passes, boys continue to get on each other's nerves and drive mommy to the wall, but we still love each other to pieces.

Over the last 3+ years, we have accumulated lots and lots of toys so mommy wanted to do something different this year so we didn't have a traditional birthday party. However, we had a pot luck dinner with few closed friends, where each family brings 2 dishes to share. That turns out pretty well as the pot luck was somewhat a surprise for our guests. Mommy created the sesame street theme decorations as part of the birthday celebration. Everyone had a great time.

Didi - at birth, weighing just 6 lbs 13 oz. He was induced for labor at exactly 37 weeks due to low amniotic fluid. In fact, during the whole pregnancy, mommy's belly growth was measured smaller than doctor anticipated; for that, an ultrasound was done almost every visit to the doc office.

Today, he is one strong healthy toddler,weighs 28 lbs (61%) 34" tall (49%).



Grow too fast...



Despite all the annoyances with 2 small boys in the house, didi brings us so much happiness. He has a very funny personality. Mommy, daddy, and gege love you so so much.
