Located near the Bay is the Florida Aquarium. Apparently, this aquarium is a non-profit organization that has a hefty price ticket. Again, we fully utilized our zoo membership for an extra 50% off of the admission tickets. If you don't carry a zoo membership, you could still score a slightly cheaper ticket by going here.

The Florida Aquarium has nothing spectacular worth mentioning, but is another place you could take the kids to when visiting Tampa.
Clearwater Beach
After our research, we knew that we wanted to pay a visit to the clearwater beach. Surprisingly, our friend, who is a local at St. Petersburg took us there. Mommy's first impression of the beach was OMG! White sand beach! She was so excited for the kids that they finally get to play with white sand with water.
Pictures worth a thousand words is not always true. These pictures we took can't justify the beauty of this beach. What's better than the two combinations of water and sand? Just look at this priceless expression on his face.
Moms just want to have fun...

One final note, we went to the happenings part of the beach - clearwater beach pier 60. Surprisingly, it wasn't as crowded as we thought. I guess that is why is good to travel during off-peak seasons. There are water slides and other activities that you can take part in with nominal fees. We did not have a chance to explore other things as the kids were so engaged in the sand and water til dark.
Definitely worth a visit.
