All it takes is a split second and my four year old wound up in the emergency room (ER). My poor baby lost his balance and fell off from his bike in a still position. This time it was much serious than it seems. As much as he has fall off his bike, we were not as alarmed as we should have the moment he fell off.
We were getting ready for our usual bike ride and BAM, he tripped and the bike fell on top of him. Two hours later, the nurse returned mommy's phone call and asked for his symptoms. One of which was to see whether we could feel the elbow bone of his injured arm and mommy couldn't. It was swollen. Off to the ER we go.
The next morning, he went in the operation room for his very first surgery under general anesthesia. Poor baby, we hope you feel better soon. We love you!
