Summer 2022 Trip - Milwaukee, WI

After the gathering and fun activities with our buddies in Chicago, we arrived at Milwaukee. We stayed at Hyatt Place Milwaukee Downtown for 9500 Hyatt points. We parked on the street next to the hotel since it is free at overnight. This hotel is at very close promixity to the area of activities we would be doing the next day.

Woke up early in the morning and most places were still closed. We strolled along the Milwaukee riverwalk.

After that went to the Milwaukee Art Museum. The architectural design of the building is amazing. It shapes like the tail of the whale. We were told it opens and closes during the museum opening and closing. If we remembered correctly, it also move one time around noon. Pretty cool. After strolling around the area a little bit, it is time for the Milwaukee Public Musuem. This museum is pretty large and have tons of things to see. Note that sometimes they may have discounted price for limited length of visit or special event. Check out more details on their website. We spent around 5 hours in here :). This place does have restaurant and cafeterias within. Some parking spaces could be found across the street. It was during the weekend, so it was mostly available and free.

After the museum, we went to the popular Milwaukee Public Market. It was quite big with lots of foods. We bought some snacks and headed out to Veterans Park.

One of the thing caught our eyes was the surreal bikes. The park is pretty big and we thought getting one of this would be nice to see more. Plus the kids were excited about it. The last time we did a surreal bike was about 4 years ago at San Diego. We had a lot of fun cycling the bike and have fun 'racing' with others.

We were tired and hungry. We headed to Bammbo restaurant. It has some authentic Laotian food. We haven't tried before and it tastes unique and pretty good.

We stayed at Hyatt Milwaukee Airport since it is available and only cost 5000 Hyatt ponts. The following day we would be going to Green Bay for some exciting fun!
