Trip to the North - Day 7 - Banff

After Lake Louise, we spent a night at Mountain View Inn, Banff. It was around $100 (we used ~8200 ultimate reward point). One of the cheapest hotel in the highly popular Banff. We initially weren't so sure about this hotel as it was so cheap but after all the great convincing reviews, we gave it a try. Well, our verdict is that this is a clean and well maintained hidden gems! Absolutely recommended.

After quick breakfast, we began our first destination at Banff National Park. Vermilion Lake. We saw a few group of people on roller blades with sticks on the Vermillion Lake Road.

Which one is the beauty here?

Next is Two Jack Lake. Probably it was Tuesday, it was less crowded and we got to enjoyed more.

About 10 minutes away is the magnificent Lake Minnewanka. This is the largest lake around the area and the only place for motor boat. We rented a motor boat for fun. Daddy first time handling the motor boat. The kids asked him to speed it up..

Calgary Airport - Time to go home. Taking United Airline (~$450-$500 each, but we used ~36k ultimate reward point for the 4 of us) to fly home. It has been a while since we took United. United charges $25 on every check-in luggage. We forgot to charge the air ticket tax (~$5-10) on our United credit card to get free check-in bag. Anyway. Fun over.
