Labor Day Weekend: Part II - Fort Worth

After an hour drive from Waco, we arrived at Fort Worth in time for dinner.  We ate at a local Vietnamese restaurant nearby downtown before headed out to our final destination for the day.

Our day ended at Fort Worth Water Gardens.  Pretty awesome place to hang out.

We walked down the short terraced steps to the small pool at the bottom. It was a little crowded due to the long weekend, but nevertheless it was a fun experience for us and the kids. Right after the sunset, we enjoyed the beautiful water fountain next to the pool.

Hotel for the night was at Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Cityview.

Second day - Continue sightseeing at Fort Worth Downtown.

JFK Tribute

Walked around with few pictures at the dazzling Sundance Square. How many cows do you see in the picture below? Don't forget to count the obvious one!

One of them must be telling some really funny joke..

Stockyards - We got there at 11:00 am to give us some leeway before the cattle drive at 11:30 am. The cattle drive is only held twice a day at 11:30 am & 4:00 pm.

After watching the cattle drive, we stopped by the petting zoo. Didi is the bravest of all, enjoys feeding the animals.

The wooden observation deck to view the live stocks. Original!

Daddy has been wanted to ride this mechanical bull! Finally dream came true and he didn't fall!

Good bye Fort Worth. Didi was knocked out as soon as we got in the car at 2 ish. Gege was tired, but insisted not to nap. 10 minutes before we arrived at Dallas, he was fast asleep!
