Toddlers on Mid-Autumn Festival - Box - Train - Wedding

Happy Chinese mid-autumn festival (a.k.a. mooncake festival, or 中秋节)! It falls on September 15 this year. The moon is believed to be the biggest and fullest on this day. Family and friends take this opportunity to celebrate the festival by admiring the full moon, playing with lanterns and eating moon cakes.




I really can't stressed enough how amazing this magical box really is!  So, here we go again. Boys spent nearly an hour inside!  It helps when mommy needed a break or even a short nap!

Saturday, we went to Zube park for the free train ride. We got there shortly after they open and the line was already so long that we waited nearly 35 minutes!

Didi was so excited that he couldn't wait. He held tight on to gege during the train ride. Majority of the train is run by gasoline, but look at this steam train!



All dressed up for a wedding. It is so rare that we dress up. Even daddy was once contemplating of wearing a collar shirt and short pant to an afternoon wedding at a temple. That was many years ago, so I digress..
