San Antonio is seventh-most populated city in U.S. and very popular place to visit in Texas. It includes attractions such as historic missions and the famous river walk. The San Antonia river walk located at the city center and has easy access to many attractions including The Alamo mission. It has paved paths, stoned bridges, boats rides and plenty of restaurants. How about having a dinner on the boat?
We have visited San Antonio several times, but have yet paid a visit to the historical downtown. Not as exciting for the kids, but the weather was great to be out and about so why not.
First stop was the San Antonio Missions National Park. There are 5 main historical sites within the Missions National Park, but we only had energy with cooperative kids for up to three mission sites. The remaining 2 sites will be until next visit.
Mission Concepcion founded on 1716 equipped with a splendid church was considered the most beautiful mission among all.
Mission San Jose is the largest mission and considered the strongest mission. This mission was almost fully restored to its original design.

The Alamo mission. The most famous mission among all the missions. It is an important site where Texas fight for independence back in the 18th century.
Brackenridge Park - Japanese Tea Gardens is such a neat little park for a stroll. The website shows a nominal entrance fees, but the time we went, it was not collected. By the way, was it a Chinese Tea Garden before? Look at the gate sign..
