Disney Epcot looks like a huge park from its map and it is. Mainly because of the world showcase, featuring 11 different countries. As far as attractions is concerned, they are primarily situated at the Future World nearby the iconic globe as you can see at the upper part of the map below.
We went during the flower and garden festival so we got to enjoy some topiaries and garden viewing throughout the park.
Epcot is divided into 3 main sections with Future World having the most attractions. There are few shows located at the World Showcase that we missed in part of nap time. Bear in mind that the World Showcase opens at 11:00 A.M., by the time we got to it, it was time for nap; not to mention a very hot day under the sun with little shades. Overall, we covered most attractions and a second day is definitely not needed.
Future World East
Spaceship Earth - situated inside the iconic globe of Epcot. Some parts of the ride can be extremely dark. Well, you supposed to be in space. The line goes relatively fast. We suggest to go on this ride in the late afternoon or evening. Why? Since the ride is right in front of the entrance, most people have taken this ride by the time.
Ellen's Energy Adventure - a must see in Epcot for dinosaurs' fans. Ellen DeGeneres takes you back to the world of life size dinosaurs. You will get warning before sitting on the ride show, but a must see for those little fans of dinosaurs. Daddy was amazed on the whole design and effects of the adventure ride at this place.
Test Track - One of the popular rides of Epcot. Daddy and gege went (playfully ran with the first line of crowd) straight to the ride when the park opens. It has a design room where each of you design your own personalized concert car. The ride takes you for a high-octane spin to test your virtual car.
Future World West
Epcot Character Spot - After a brief tour of the Mission Space, we went to the character spot to wait for gege and daddy while they're at the Test Track ride. There are multiple character like Mickey, Baymax and others. The queue was amazingly short, I guess most people are on their must-do rides.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends - Undersea observation with clamp ride. Nope, you won't get wet going under the sea :)
Turtle Talk with Crush - We found this attraction relatively funny with children participants. The talking turtle is hilarious and did a fantastic job. Imagine making both kids and adults laugh.
Living with the Land - a slow moving boat tour the greenhouses.
The Circle of Life - Pumbaa, from the Lion King talks about conservation and how one's action could impact the circle of life. Pretty meaningful film. There is a food court in the building so you might as well schedule your lunch or dinner here.
Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival - a short 3-D children imagination films including, "Get a Horse," "La Luna," and "For the Birds." Outside the building, there's a dancing water fountain, which is quite enjoyable for little kids.
World Showcase
World Showcase features 11 countries with just a couple of non-thrilled rides. Mostly, it is intended for an enjoyable walk to observe different building structures, food, music and some unique performance of each country.
Mexico
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros - We almost missed out on a boat ride inside this building. Due to Frozen Ever After technical failure, we stopped by Mexico and daddy found a hidden treasure. This boat ride features the Donald Duck with three feathered amigos, guiding the tour of Mexico.
Norway
Frozen Ever After - if there's a fast pass available, make sure you reserve for it. The wait time has been closed to an hour, more or less. We almost missed out on this attraction due to technical difficulties during our reserved fast pass time slot. Luckily, it opens back up an hour before the park closes. The ride is probably 10 minutes long compared to an hour wait time. Such a beautiful layout plots so thumbs up to this attraction.
China
Do you see any replication of the Washington D.C. Chinatown from this picture below?
Germany & Italy
Seems like we walked past both of them without knowing it. That tells me we didn't know enough of its uniqueness or any popular landmark. Note to self, a hint to spend some times in these two cultures.
The American Adventure
Colonial American mansion with theater inside for performance. Featuring hard worker pushing his own stroller at the front.
Disney Pixar's Woody - Toy Story's Sheriff Woody Topiaries located at the American Adventure.
Japan
Morocco
France
Featuring beauty and the beast with the miniature iconic Eiffel tower at the background. Why go cramp with the insane crowd at Paris while you can just enjoy the view here with our two found new friends :)
United Kingdom
View of Shakespeare Garden. Few times a day, there are photo shooting with Mary Poppins.
Canada
Man made waterfall next to the big Canada Pavilion.
Bambi & Friends
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth - is the only fireworks that we got to see in person as the hotel shuttle picks up is at Epcot. The fireworks start promptly at 9:00 P.M. at the center of World Showcase and runs about 15 minutes. We stood near the garden oasis for ease of getting out of the park to catch the shuttle.
