Nearly 9 years ago, we were here during mommy's business trip for our very first visit ever. We did not know any better back then and had no planning whatsoever. We got on less than 5 attractions for an entire day. Today, we are much smarter and we plan ahead! Planning is the key. Along with smaller crowds, we got on to most, if not all, the rides we could possibly get on with 2 additional young kids at this magical place, where dreams come true, the Disney World Magic Kingdom.

Saving the best for last and glad we did as we learn from our experiences with Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. From taking advantages of the fastpass benefits to improving efficiency of navigating through the park. Keep in mind that these were our experience at the park when the crowd level was projected around 5 out of 10.
With younger kids, we spent majority of our time at Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and Fantasyland. We bypassed Frontierland and Liberty Square as little kids either are not tall enough or do not have interest. It is a good idea to always check the height restriction for each attraction before heading to the park. Our journey started at Tomorrowland and ended at Adventureland for the most part. We did go back to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland at the end of the day to finish up few attractions.
Tomorrowland
Yes, we were among the opening crowds, running (not too crazy, but fun) to the very first attractions of Tomorrowland Speedway. Again, fastpass was reserved as the first ride, but we wanted to modify for other attractions like the Mad Tea Party as soon as we get on the Speedway. Keep note, Stich and Monster, Inc. are located next to it, but we skipped it this time around. Our concentration was mainly on rides at the Magic Kingdom Park.
Tomorrowland Speedway - By far, one of the hardest controlled driven car that mommy has ever rode on. As much trouble as she had with the pedal (the attendant forgot to release the brake from outside) and steering wheel, imagine, how difficult it could be for little ones. The upside of this ride is that the minimum height limit is at 32" with an accompany adult. So, the 2 year old was able to ride on it.
We managed to get on the second time towards the end of the day just to give mommy a better experience as the first was failure of brake release. The second time around, the steering wheel was just as bad as the first. On the opposite side, daddy and gege had a great time, both times.
Astro Orbiter - Spaceship orbits around similar to those of Dumbo. Because it is one of the highest (you'll have to take an elevator up to the ride), it attracted my boys. The wait time stated 15 minutes, but we waited almost 40 minutes in line. Nothing spectacular about it. We do not recommend wasting time for this attraction.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover - a relaxing tram-like tour Tomorrowland. It was crowded during early morning so we came back after dinner. Daddy was exhausted. Great choice to sit and relax.
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress - a stage show with moving seats that takes you through different eras portraying technological changes that play a part in our daily life. There was no line at this attraction, but the show is about 25 minutes long, so plan properly.
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - another one of the popular ride with a shooting game using laser to aims the target in a swivel cruiser. This one is much harder in terms of aiming than Toy Story Mania at the Hollywood Studios.
Fantasyland
Mickey's PhilharMagic - A 3-D movie features old collection of Disney movies (1990s) play by Donald Duck. One of the most memorable for my 2 year old. All he remembers was how Donald Duck flew over his head onto the back stage with his butt and feet hanging. Mommy also like it to a certain extent as it plays most of her favorite childhood Disney movies song.
Peter Pan's Flight - Get a fastpass! It is so popular that the wait time has been at least an hour on a non-peak season. This magical ship does fly high throughout the attraction.
"it's a small world" - beautifully staged boat ride with small characters from around the globe singing "it's a small world."
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid - tour under the sea to a different scenes of the Little Mermaid in a continuously moving clam shell.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant - One of the all-time favorite ride and this dumbo is famous to a point where the line could be so extreme that they built a play area for little ones to enjoy while the kiddos wait for the ride. You do miss your spot in line if you choose to play in the playground, but once you are ready to leave, you'll exit the playground and continue your line with the incoming crowds. It is also the only ride that comes in 2 right by each other. One for the fastpass holders and another one for stand-by.
Mad Tea Party - Giant teacups that spin and spin until your can't walk straight. It is just amazing how popular this ride could be. Disney does a great job commercialize this teacup attraction with some of Disney's favorite characters. One thing for sure, both of my kids were so happy in it.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - ride through Hundred-acre wood in a Hunny pot is a must ride for my family. The famous Winnie-the-Pooh has played a big role in my eldest boy comforting companion even til today. Get a fastpass! This is another popular one that the wait time can easily be an hour long.
Before the ride, mommy had to stop by to capture few pictures with Pooh and Tigger. Holy cow, who knew we ended up with an hour long wait just for few pictures! For all pictures shot with characters, we suggest to try do it at other parks like Disney Animal Kingdom or Epcot, where the line is usually shorter.
Adventureland
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin - really just another dumbo ride, but in the Aladdin's magic flying carpet.
Jungle Cruise - Boat tour to see exotic animals of Asia, Africa and South America with passage through jungles and such. We went in the afternoon with fastpass so got right on the boat.
Pirates of the Caribbean - some parts can be extremely dark and a little frighten for little kids. You may get slightly wet if you sit at the front row. Bigger kid? They would love it.
The Magic Kingdom concluded our Disney World's trip and left great memorable fun experience for us all. Children are never too young for Disney and no matter what age the kids are, I'm sure they will enjoy just as much. The younger two may not remember as much as the four, but we sure have plenty of pictures for memory.
We can't wait to be back and it won't be soon for sure. Until then, we just need a new set of leg for now.
