Taiping, a small town with many 'first' from historical standpoint located in Perak. It is about 1.5 hours from Penang. We are fortunate to be able to visit this beautiful historical town once a year during the Lunar New Year since gege was born in 2012.
We found a new park in Taiping!
Spritzer EcoPark
Taiping, home of the Spritzer natural mineral water plant. This is our first time visiting the newly EcoPark that was opened since 2015. The highlight of the park is the 18 holes mini golf. Admission to the park is FREE. Mini golf fees are 15RM for adult and 8RM for kid. The golf ball is souvenir for you to keep and we got a golf ball like water bottle for free.
Don't expect too much from this park as it is only a small compound for you to take a stroll asides from few photo spots and mini golf. Across the street is the Spritzer factory, but the time we went was closed for the holidays. I believe there is a tour in the factory that is open to the public.
