We've been learning sight words at home and a little phonics here and there. Few weeks ago, we went to the library for the FLIP kits and came home along with few level 1 books for preschoolers.
Now, with little help, gege is able to read a book and it puts a smile to mommy's face. I think he is pretty content knowing that he is able to read. What I am amazed about is that we speak purely Chinese at home and little to no humps, this little fella is able to read a book in another language, English. Not that English is hard, just the fact that how much a small brain can absorbed in such little time...amazing!

Yes, they learn fast.. do not worry they do not speak English at all the first four years.. have to worry they do not speak Chinese with us when they go to school..Good job...gege
