A friend told us there is a new park located in Houston. We were so excited for the kids that we went to check it out the following day. The new park, Levy Park is located in the midtown upper Kirby district and recently had it's grand opening after redevelopment.
This park had undergone major make-over as I supposed. It is one unusual park that we normally do not encountered. Why so? Aside from the regular playground structures, there were other fun activities throughout the park. Few worth mentioning: putt putt golf, foosball, zenga, coloring pages, books and many more. What about dog? Yup, it got that covered too! There is small and large dog play area. Hooray! One more place to add to the list of things to do with kids in Houston, Texas.

Our kids enjoyed it very much and it instantly becomes one of our favorite Park. Thanks to a great community redevelopment project, Houston now has something new and exciting to offers family and last but not least, man's best friend.
