Spontaneous weekend trip to Austin

Saturday - As always, daddy had unplanned trip in mind so off we go to Austin.  He wanted to test the water with the boys canoeing.  Our first stop was lunch at Michu Ramen since we got there shortly after 12pm.  After lunch, we went to Mt. Bonnell and Mayfield Park and Nature Reserve for sightseeing.






Next stop was the Zilker Park for canoeing, which was a great experience for the boys. All of us enjoyed it very much, but as always mommy is afraid of being drowned!



We ended Saturday with dinner at Mai Thai near downtown since Gege has been wanted to see the bats. Unfortunately, we waited for quite a while and did not get a chance to see it. Boys chilling with their dad at Downtown, Austin.



Sunday - We paid for breakfast at the Holiday Inn - Austin North Round Rock since breakfast was not included. The boys went to swim at the hotel pool and all of them had a great time. Then, off we go to Indeed for a visitation as Auntie works there. Very cool office with tons of perks for their employees.



Lunch was at Tacodeli. Boys were tired and on our way back home.
